Traffic flow/Kiss & Ride
Parents driving to and from school are requested not to use the bus circle. The bus circle is reserved for school buses only. Parents should drop off and pick up children on Antietam Road. Parents may also use the yellow curb at the front of the school as a "kiss and ride" area. This is a drop-off area only, and students are urged to be ready to exit the car. Please continue to wait in the car line to avoid a potential accident by pulling out early.
Please DO NOT cut people off, get out of your car to help your child, or park in this area. Teachers and Safety Patrols are in the Kiss and Ride area to greet students, help them out of cars, and direct traffic. Kiss and Ride goes smoothly and safely when everyone knows and obeys the rules!

Safety Rules for Bus Riders
- Arrive at the bus stop five minutes before the bus is scheduled to arrive.
- Wait on the sidewalk for the bus to come. Respect your neighbors' yards.
- Do not play in the street!
- Running, playing with balls or other toys, fighting, game playing, or using profanity is not allowed at the bus stop.
- If, on a particular day, a child is to ride a different bus than the one assigned, a note from his/her parent must be written and sent to the office. A bus pass will then be issued. No student may ride a bus other than the one assigned unless he/she has a bus pass.
